The community also boasts some newer home builds that were constructed between 2001-2013 with 3-4 bedrooms and open floor plans that range from 1,700-2,400 sq. ft. with large bedrooms, a family room, full basements, and attached garages. The neighborhood is also fully paved with driveways and sidewalks for those who enjoy a nice, relaxing stroll after a long day. Homes are priced in the mid $200k and up. The architectural features in this community are quite varied because of the range of home styles that cover the 1920s up to the 2000s and include cape cod, ranch, colonial, cottage, bi-level, and tri-level. There are even some original farmhouses in the community. Residents will be under 3 miles away from downtown Ann Arbor with all its conveniences but still have a semi-country setting to call home. There’s a nearby 11-acre park also named Garden Homes Park with a children’s playground and open areas for exploring and enjoying all that nature has to offer. You’ll also find nearby Veterans Memorial Park which features pools, ice skating rinks, plus a fitness center. Homeowners can enjoy the convenience of nearby grocery stores like ALDI and Kroger, plus commuters will benefit from immediate access to M-14, US-23, and I-94. Students are zoned to Ann Arbor Schools: Wines Elementary School, Forsythe Middle School, and Skyline High School.
