Oak Park

Oak Park is is a southeast Ann Arbor community located near Eastern Michigan University. The area is at the epicenter of shopping, dining, and other entertainment with quick access to US-23. Its tree-lined streets surround a variety of vintage homes in different styles including cape cod, colonial, ranch-style, and bi-level builds. Floor plans range from 923 to 2,308 sq. ft. Most were built in the 1950s and 1960s with a few dating back to the 1930s and 1940s, with construction finishing in the 1970s. Many have been remodeled to keep up with the demand for modern-day amenities and design elements. Enjoy being within a few minutes to stores like ALDI, Meijer, and At Home along with popular restaurants like Palm Palace, Ichiban Japanese Steakous, Tuptim Thai Cuisine, King Shing, and Red Lobster, plus Cinemark Ann Arbor 20 movie theater if you’d like to take in a show. Nearby you’ll also find local parks for getting out in the great outdoors. You can also take a walk around the neighborhood, which has fully paved streets and sidewalks. Students are zoned to Ann Arbor Schools: Carpenter Elementary (within walking distance), Scarlett Middle School, and Huron High School. Washtenaw Community College is also just a few minutes north of the neighborhood. Residents can also benefit from lower Pittsfield Township taxes.
