Rolling Meadow Estates is a smaller community of moderately priced homes just off Platt Road near US-23 in Ypsilanti. The neighborhood is mostly made up of colonial-style homes with construction beginning in the 1990s with updated features and modern design elements. Some homes offer large kitchens with dining nooks, fireplaces, master suites, private master baths, granite countertops, hardwood floors, brick exteriors, attached garages, and pond views. Residents can also enjoy the many annual events in Ypsilanti, including First Fridays, Halloween events including Ypsi Freak Fest, evening lantern tours in early October, and other seasonal festivities. Students are zoned to Ann Arbor schools: Carpenter Elementary School, Scarlett Middle School, and Huron High School. Homeowners can also take advantage of lower Pittsfield Township taxes.
